Ni Amorim will test the Seat Cupra GT

Ni Amorim will test a Seat Cupra GT, from the official team of the spanish brand Seat, next Monday, at Barcelona. The portuguese driver will be the only driver testing this day, and Wednesday he will test the same car along more 15 drivers:

"I'm very proud with this invitation. For me, was a real possibility from showing all my experience with a good car like the Seat. In fact, the first contacts with Seat were made the last year. So, with this first test, I hope to do a good job and help Seat to develop the car."

About the future, Ni Amorim only said, with a smile: "I'm concerned about the next tests with the DRM's Ferrari, briefly, at Silverstone...

British GT Championship/Oulton Park

Ni Amorim 2nd in the Class Cup

Ni Amorim is now in the 2nd place of the overall classification, in the British GT Championship's Class Cup, with the DRM Racing's Ferrari 360 Modena, shared with Adam Wilcox. A result only possible after the poor races held in Oulton Park circuit. Amorim was forced to failed the first race, after a broken shaft in the warm up laps, but in the second race the things are better. In fact, the driver finishes the race in 6th position of the Class Cup classification, but for him that isn't a good result, especially because he lost the leadership of the Championship by three points:

"Early in the race, I spin many times, due to the oil left in the track by a Lotus. I was able to avoid any obstacle and return to the track, but only in the last position."

The race was "lost", but even after that, Amorim and Wilcox drives strongly, until the 6th position of the Class Cup.

Classification: 1st Sharpe/Lesniewski (Porsche); 2nd Kershaw/Whight (Lotus); 3rd Broster/Brown (Porsche); (...) 6ºth Amorim/Wilcox (Ferrari).
